I am a working class queer cis white man from Essex based in Glasgow/Edinburgh. I am a socially engaged artist, focusing on class, belonging, queerness, masculinity and infrastructure as care, through sculpture, performance, storytelling, poetry and socially engaged practice.
I have over 15 years experience as an artist, educator and organiser, establishing residencies, large scale social projects, and working with and creating organisations in the arts and charitable sector. Including working as educational programmer for East Dunbartonshire Libraries, co-initiator of the Community Wellbeing Collective (Edinburgh), and as art producer for Jeanne van Heeswijk. Alongside academic roles of lecturer of Social Practice at Willem de Kooning Academy and Teaching Fellow in Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art.
